Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features
Players who finish the adventure will receive an special katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-based attire for Yasuke
- Mikasa attire for Naoe

This update also introduces the game's newest no-cost story addition, titled "The Enigma."
